The Coursepath online training platform is best used to train employees, customers and partners for fast-track online trainings and micro learning purposes. One of the recent additions to the growing list of Coursepath customers is Planzer Transport AG in Switzerland.
The Planzer Group has businesses in storage, assemblage, transportation and logistics. Employees at Planzer were traditionally trained in a classroom setting. This requires time, money and considerable operational effort for its employees, as well as for the company to organize such training.
With 56 locations, approximately 4,200 employees worldwide, including 200 apprentices, Planzer needed a Software-as-a-Service online training platform that can efficiently and effectively service their on-demand training needs throughout the organisation, irrespective of each branch and employee’s location.
Since then the company has rolled out security trainings on airfreight issues as part of its initial trainings. Handling Manager, Thomas Hirt is satisfied with the introduction of online trainings:
“Switching to digital corporate training is an important step for us. Participants for our internal trainings are no longer forced to be in one place at a certain time. This way we can give our employees more flexibility. In the future, Planzer will combine online and offline activities in a so-called Blended learning.“
Mujibor de Graaf, Director of Coursepath, emphasizes the importance of having Planzer on board as an international customer in the Distribution and Logistics sector:
“It is particularly important to us that our customers adopt Coursepath with very little effort. The use of a training system should be simple and intuitive, equipped with a facility for participants to freely collaborate with each other and give feedback as well. The focus lies on the content and the actual training. Coursepath facilitates all of these easily.”
